Kishtwar National Park
Located in Jammu Kashmir’s Kishtwar district.
In the heart of the Himalayan crystalline belt is the Kishtwar National Park.
Here, granite and gneiss make up the majority of the severely bent rocks. Additionally, marble beds are occasionally discovered.
The great Himalaya to the east, the Rinnay River to the north, the Kibar Nala catchments to the south, and the Marwa River to the west encircle this park.
The rivers Kiar, Nath, and Kibar travel in a northerly to southerly direction, merging into the Marwar River before joining the Chenab River slightly above Kishtwar town.
Aside from them, the Paddar Sapphire Mines, hiking trails, and tumbling waterfalls are among of the park’s main draws.
The park’s terrain is rough and steep.

Dachigam National Park
Popular for Hangul
The park’s name literally translates to “ten villages,” honoring the ten communities that had to be moved in order to make room for the park.
The river Dagwan originates from the Marsar lake, which is situated deep within the region.
Dachigam was first founded to guarantee that Srinagar City will have access to safe drinking water. The park was designated as a national park in 1981, but it had been a protected area since 1910.
The park is located between 5,500 and 14,000 feet above sea level.
Fauna
Other wildlife that calls Dachigam home includes ibex, wild goats like the Markhor, brown bears, leopards, jungle cats, and Himalayan black bears.
The park is home to several rare bird species, such as cinnamon sparrows, Himalayan monals, Kashmir flycatchers, black bulbuls, and colorful pheasants like the koklass, crimson tragopan, and iridescent monal and blood pheasants.
In the park, one may also witness golden eagles and bearded vultures, also known as lammergeiers.

The Himalayan Musk Deer (Maschus crysogater), Markhor (Capra falconeri), and 20 different kinds of mammals live in the Kazinag National Park.
It is a portion of a plan for a trans-Karakoram peace park with Pakistan and a future national park that has been commissioned.

In 1987, the park was formally designated as a national park.
By incorporating neighboring properties, it expanded to around 3350 sq. km in 1988. Compared to 1990, it grew to 4400 square kilometers.
